Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt wird an einen Empfänger für Funkfernsteuerungen von Modell-
fahrzeugen angeschlossen und dient dort zur stufenlosen Drehzahlregelung von
Elektromotoren (vorwärts/rückwärts), siehe Kapitel „Merkmale".
Beachten Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise dieser Bedienungsanleitung.
Alle enthaltenen Firmennamen und Produktbezeichnungen sind Warenzei-

tung verursacht werden, erlischt der Garantieanspruch! Für

Bei Sach- oder Personenschäden, die durch unsachgemäße Hand-
habung oder Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitshinweise verursacht
werden, übernehmen wir keine Haftung! In solchen Fällen er-
lischt jeder Garantieanspruch.
Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) ist das eigenmächtige
Umbauen und/oder Verändern des Produkts nicht gestattet.
Lassen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial nicht achtlos liegen, dieses
könnte für Kinder zu einem gefährlichen Spielzeug werden.
Das Produkt ist feuchtigkeitsgeschützt. Tauchen Sie das Produkt aber
niemals unter Wasser bzw. betreiben Sie es nicht unter Wasser.
Gehen Sie vorsichtig mit dem Produkt um, durch Stöße, Schläge oder
dem Fall aus bereits geringer Höhe wird es beschädigt.
Schließen Sie die Verbindungskabel nicht kurz, dadurch wird der
Fahrtregler zerstört. Gleiches gilt bei Überlast (z.B. durch die Verwen-
dung eines nicht geeigneten Motors).
Klemmen Sie den Akku immer dann vom Fahrtregler ab, wenn der
Fahrtregler nicht benötigt wird. Bei kurzzeitigen Pausen kann der
Fahrtregler über den Ein-/Ausschalter deaktiviert werden.
Schalten Sie immer zuerst den Sender ein, bevor Sie den Fahrtregler
mit dem Akku verbinden und einschalten!
Bevor der Sender ausgeschaltet wird, muss zuerst der Fahrtregler
ausgeschaltet und ggf. vom Akku getrennt werden.
Montage
Montieren Sie den Fahrtregler mit doppelseitigem Klebeband (oder einem
Klettband) möglichst weit vom Empfänger entfernt. Die Stromkabel zum Motor
und zum Akku als auch die dünnen Steuerkabel sind möglichst weit entfernt von
dem Antennenkabel zu verlegen (das Antennenkabel sollte direkt vom Empfänger
weg zur Antennenhalterung führen).
Die Kabel dürfen nicht in bewegte Teile gelangen; sichern Sie sie mit Kabel-
bindern. Die Kühlrippen müssen freiliegen.
Anschluss
• Verbinden Sie die beiden dicken Motorkabel mit Ihrem Motor (blaues Kabel mit
schwarzem Motorkabel, Minus; das gelbe Kabel mit rotem Motorkabel, plus).
• Schließen Sie danach den dreipoligen Stecker an Ihrem Empfänger an. Achten
Sie dabei unbedingt auf die richtige Belegung am Empfänger (Bedienungsan-
leitung zum Empfänger bzw. Aufdruck auf dem Empfänger).

Da der Fahrtregler einen BEC besitzt („Battery Eliminator Circuit"), darf keine
Empfängerbatterie/-akku verwendet werden! Der Empfänger wird direkt über
den Fahrtregler aus dem Fahrakku versorgt.
• Montieren Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter im Fahrzeug; brin-
gen Sie den Schalter in die Position „OFF" (= Aus).
Fahrzeug in Betrieb nehmen
• Schalten Sie Ihren Sender ein (Akku- bzw. Batteriezustand kontrollieren!).
Bringen Sie die Trimmregler in Mittelstellung; bringen Sie den Gashebel in
Neutralposition.
• Der Schalter des Fahrtreglers ist in die Position „OFF" (= Aus) zu stellen.
• Setzen Sie einen Akkupack in das Fahrzeug ein und verbinden Sie ihn mit dem
Fahrtregler.
Platzieren Sie ein Modellfahrzeug so, dass die Antriebsräder keinen
Kontakt zum Boden oder Gegenständen haben. Fassen Sie nicht mit
der Hand in den Antrieb! Nach dem Einschalten des Fahrtreglers
könnte es durch die Stellung des Gashebels bzw. Trimmreglers am
Sender zum sofortigen Starten des Antriebs kommen!
• Bringen Sie den Schalter des Fahrtreglers in die Position „ON" (= Ein).
• Die LEDs auf dem Fahrtregler beginnen, für zwei Sekunden zu blinken (die LEDs
liegen neben der Bedientaste auf dem Fahrtregler).
Wenn die Taste auf dem Fahrtregler nicht gedrückt wird, werden die Standard-
einstellungen übernommen.
Wird die Taste gedrückt, so speichert der Fahrtregler die momentane Stellung
des Gashebels als Neutralposition.
Die grüne LED beginnt zu leuchten.
• Bewegen Sie den Gashebel soweit nach vorn wie möglich (maximale Vorwärts-
geschwindigkeit) und bringen Sie den Gashebel wieder in die Neutralposition.
Der Fahrtregler speichert die Einstellung für Vollgas.
Die rote LED beginnt zu leuchten.
• Bewegen Sie den Gashebel soweit zurück wie möglich (maximale Einstellung
für Rückwärts- bzw. Bremsfunktion) und bringen Sie den Gashebel wieder in die
Neutralposition. Der Fahrtregler speichert die Einstellung, beide Leuchtdioden
leuchten nun dauerhaft.
• Je nach Stellung des Gashebels leuchten die LEDs (beide für Mittelstellung,
grün für „voll vorwärts", rot für „voll rückwärts".
• Für eine erneute Programmierung gehen Sie wie oben beschrieben vor (Fahrt-
regler aus- und einschalten, Programmierung starten). Alternativ können Sie
die Taste etwa 2 Sekunden drücken und anschließend die Programmierung
vornehmen.
Betrieb beenden
Schalten Sie zuerst den Fahrtregler aus (Schalter in Stellung „OFF". Trennen Sie
dann den Akku vom Fahrtregler.
Danach ist der Sender auszuschalten.
Entsorgung
Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den
geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.

Cruise Control „VR 18 T"

Prescribed use
The product is to be connected to a receiver for the radio remote control of model
cars and is designed for the continous control of the speed of electric motors
ON
OFF
(forwards/backwards), see chapter "Features".

Safety Instructions
In the case of any damages which are caused due to failure to observe
these operating instructions, the guarantee will expire! We do not
assume liability for resulting damages!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury,
caused by improper use or the failure to observe the safety instructions!
The guarantee will expire in any such case!
The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is
inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become a
dangerous toy for children!
The product is protected against dampness. However, do not dip the
device into water and never use it under water.
Handle the product carefully and do not drop it; knocks, blows or even
a fall from a low height can damage it.
Do not short-out the connecting cable, as this would damage the
cruise control. The same is valid in case of overload (e.g. when using
inappropriate motors).
Unclamp the battery from the control cruise if you do not use the
latter. If the cruise control is not used for brief periods, it can be
deactivated via the the On/Off switch.
Always turn on the transmitter first before connecting the control
cruise with the battery and switching it on!
Before turning off the transmitter, turn off the cruise control and, if
necessary, separate it from the battery.
Installation
Install the control cruise with a double-faced scotch tape (or with a Velcro) as far
from the receiver as possible. The power cable to the engine and to the battery
as well as the thin control cables must be installed far from the aerial cable also
(the aerial cable should run directly from the receiver to the aerial fitting).
The cables must not get into moving parts, fix them with cable fasteners The
cooling fins must not be covered.
Connection
• Connect the two thick motor cables with their motor (blue cable with the black
motor cable, negative; the yellow cable with the red motor cable, positive).
• Connect the three-pole plug on your receiver. Make sure to observe the correct
assignment on the receiver (consult the user's manual of the receiver or the
markings on the receiver).

As the control cruise is equipped with BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit), no
receiver battery/rechargeable battery may be used! The battery supplies the
receiver directly with power via the control cruise.
• Install the On/Off switch in the car; place the switch onto
the position "OFF".
Running the car
• Switch on you transmitter (control the status of the battery or the rechargeable
battery!) Place the trimm regulator in the center position; place the throttle
lever in the neutral position.
• The switch of the control cruise must be set onto the position "OFF'.
• Insert the battery pack in the car and connect it with the control cruise.
Place the car model in such a way that the drive wheels do not touch
the ground or similar objects. Do not touch the drive! Once the control
cruise is switched on, the drive can be started immediately via the
position of the throttle lever or the trimm regulator on the transmitter!
• Set the switch of the control cruise to the position "ON".
• The LEDs on the control cruise begin to blink for approximately two seconds
(the LEDs are near the operator button on the control cruise).
If the button is not pressed down, the standard settings are stored.
When the button is pressed, the control cruise stores the present setting of the
throttle lever as neutral position.
The green LED lights up.
• Move the throttle lever forwards as far as it will go (max. forward speed) and
place it into the neutral position again. The control cruise stores the setting for
full throttle.
The red LED lights up.
• Move the throttle lever backwards as far as it will go (max. setting for backward
speed or brake function) and place the throttle lever into the neutral position.
The control cruise stores the setting; both LEDs light up permanently.
• The LEDs light up according to the position of the throttle lever (both for central
position, green for "fully forwards", red for "fully backwards".
• For a new programming, proceed as described above (turn the cruise control
on and off, start the programming). You can also press on the button for
approximately 2 seconds then proceed to programming.
Ending operation
Switch off the cruise control (switch into the position "OFF"). Separate the battery
from the control cruise.
Then switch off the transmitter.
Disposal
At the end of its serviceable life, dispose of the product according to
the relevant statutory requirements.
