GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
Klein Tools LBL100 is a Magnetic Laser Bubble Level that projects a laser line and spot. The
laser line and spot project parallel to the base of the level at a height of 1/2" (12.7 mm) above the
base (FIG. 1). Magnets in the base of the level allow it to attach to ferromagnetic surfaces, and a
V-groove along the top allows it to be centered along pipe and conduit. There is also a leveling base
included for use on unlevel surfaces.

To ensure safe operation of the instrument, follow these instructions. Failure to observe these
warnings can result in serious personal injury. Retain these instructions for future reference.
• LASER RADIATION, Class IIIa laser. DO NOT direct
laser beam into eyes, DO NOT stare into the beam, or
DO NOT view directly with optical instruments as this
can cause severe and permanent eye damage.
• DO NOT use the LBL100 if it appears to be damaged.
• This product should not be used in any location that could result in somebody looking at or having
their eyes inadvertently irradiated by the laser beam, as this could result in severe eye injuries.
• This instrument should be powered off following use to minimize the risks of inadvertent exposure
to hazardous laser irradiation that could result in severe eye injuries.
• The instrument should be securely located in a tidy work environment prior to operation, as
unexpected drops or movement of the instrument may result in damage to the instrument, and
increases the risk of inadvertent exposure to laser radiation that could result in eye injuries.
• Always wear approved eye protection.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Unscrew the Power Button / Battery Cap 9 by turning counterclockwise. Remove and recycle
three exhausted AAA batteries. Install new batteries. Screw Power Button / Battery Cap into
place, seating fully to ensure a tight seal, using caution not to damage the O-ring.
Be sure level is turned off and wipe with a clean, dry lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive
cleaners or solvents.
Remove the batteries when level is not in use for a prolonged period of time. Do not expose to high
temperatures or humidity. After a period of storage in extreme conditions exceeding the limits mentioned in
the General Specifications section, allow the level to return to normal operating conditions before using.
