Battery pack and charger
① On/Off switch. When set to "Lock", the power screw driver
function is switched off; the reverse facility switch is blocked. After
or when not in use, select the "Lock" function to prevent accidental
operation of the tool.
② Reverse facility switch. Press the upper part of the switch to
drive in screws (clockwise) Press the lower part of the switch to
remove screws (counter-clockwise).
③ Speed selector switch. Depending on the particular use, two
speeds HIGH and LOW can be selected via the slide switch. Caution:
The torque is dependent upon the speed.
④ Torque setting control. The screwdriver torque can be varied at
the torque setting control: "1" is minimum, "6" is maximum. In torque
setting "6" the coupling does not slip; the drive is connected directly
to the motor. If the coupling does not slip also in torque settings "4"
and "5", the batteries must be recharged.

Setting 6:
⑤ Changing screwdriver bits. Before inserting or removing the
screwdriver bits, set the on/off switch to "Lock" to prevent accidental
operation of the tool. Only use screwdriver bits with 1/4" E6,3 DIN
3126 shank.
⑥ Battery pack. To remove the battery pack from the screwdriver,
lightly press the release buttons ⑦ lon both sides. Only charge the
battery pack with the supplied charger! Replace the battery pack in
the screwdriver after charging.
The life of the battery pack is limited. If the operating time is
noticeably reduced after charging, the battery pack must be replaced.
For occasional use, the battery pack must be charged at least every six
months to maintain its condition.
Note: The capacity of the battery pack is reduced if used in very cold
or very warm temperatures.

Common Cautions for the Liion/ Ni-Mh Battery Pack
Note: When a cold battery (of about 0°C or less) is to be charged in
a warm room, leave the battery in the room for at least one hour and
charge it when it has warmed up to room temperature. (Failing to do
so may result in less than a full charge.)
• Cool down the charger when charging more than two battery
packs consecutively.
• Do not insert your fingers into contact hole, when holding charger
or any other occasions.
