Funktionsbeschreibung / verwendungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Der Power Manager ist mit einer Mehrfachsteckdosenleiste vergleichbar.
Beim Power Manager lässt sich jedoch jeder einzelne Verbraucher individuell ein-
oder ausschalten. Ein zusätzlicher übergeordneter Netzschalter schaltet die
Netzversorgung für alle Ausgänge ein oder aus.
Mit dem Power Manager lässt sich z.B. ein Computersystem mit PC, Monitor,
Drucker, Scanner und anderen Peripheriegeräten entweder einzeln oder komplett
ein- bzw. ausschalten. Das gleiche gilt für ein Audiosystem mit Verstärker, Tuner,
Kassettendeck, CD-Spieler und Equalizer oder ein Meßsystem aus Funktionsgenerator,
Frequenzzähler, Netzgerät, Tischmultimeter und Oszilloskop.
Weiterhin enthält der Power Manager einen Netzfilter zur Unterdrückung von
Störsignalen. Der Netzfilter schützt sowohl die einzelnen Verbraucher vor
Hochfrequenzstörsignalen aus dem Netz als auch vor Einspeisung von evtl.
Hochfrequenzstörsignalen von Verbrauchern in das Netz.

Die Geräteschalter sind jeweils einer der Steckdosen ( Rückseite) individuell
zugeordnet.

Dear customer,
thank you for your purchase of this product. Please read this Instructions of Use carefully
before putting your Power Manager into operation.
Attention! Important Safety Information!
The power consumption of 16 A and the connected load of 3.500 W ( ohm's
-
load) b/w. 1470 VA cos φ 0,6 (inductive load) must not be exceeded.
The Power Manager may only be operated when connected to a mains socket
-
protected by a 16 A fuse.
Any operation under adverse environmental conditions must be avoided.

Adverse environmental conditions include surrounding temperatures above
50° C and the presence of flammable gases, solvents, vapours, dust, relative
humidity above 80% as well as wetness.
The device must only be operated in dry and enclosed rooms.

If it can assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, then the device
-
must be switch off immediately and preventive measures against an
unintentional operation must be taken. A safe operation can no longer be
assumed if the device no longer shows indications of proper functioning, if it
has signs of visible damage, transportation damage, or after it has been stored
under adverse conditions.
Service and repairs: When coverings are being opened or components are
-
being removed, voltage-conducting components may be uncovered. Also,
connection points may be voltage-conducting. The device must be separated
from the mains voltage prior to any maintenance work, repairs or replacement
of components and assemblies. Any maintenance or repairs work may only
performed by a specialist who is thoroughly familiar with the attendant dangers
and the relevant regulations.

Please disconnect the power plug of the Power Manager from the socket if the

connected devices are not being used for an extended period of time, for
example during vacation periods.
