Safety Instructions

Positioning: Only use the head-
set in dry, interior rooms. Do not
operate the system near water and
keep it away from damp areas and
areas where liquids are likely to
drip or be sprayed in order to pre-
vent damage being caused to the
product. Place the base station on
a stable surface. Make sure that
the base station does not topple
over and cause injury to persons or
damage to the base station itself as
a result of external influences such
as for instance the cables being
pulled or the base station acciden-
tally being knocked against. Do
not position the base station near
sources of heat such as radiators
and do not expose it to continuous
direct sunlight.
Cleaning: Do not use any chemi-
cals or other cleaning solutions to
clean the product. Only use a dry
or slightly damp cloth.
Power supply: Only plug the
base station into the power supply
specified on the rating plate. The
product must not be earthed. Do
not attempt to modify the power
cord or mains plug in any way.
Volume adjustment: Before
switching the headset on, please
ensure that the volume control on
the headset is set to the minimum
level. Slowly increase the volume
level after the product has been
switch on in order to prevent any
damage being caused to your hea-
ring.
Volume: Listening to audio at a
loud volume may lead to loss of
hearing. Therefore loud volumes
should be avoided. Ensure that the
volume on the system and on the
audio source is set to a low level.
AC adapter: Only use the sup-
plied AC adapter. You may damage
the base station if another AC ad-
apter is used.

Wireless IR technology: The
product transmits the audio source
using infrared (IR) technology. In
order to ensure that audio trans-
mission is interference-free, you
should always use the headset in
direct line-of-sight of the base sta-
tion.
