OPERATION

APPLICATIONS
You may use this product for the purposes listed below:
 General ventilation of most household spaces.
INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK
See Figure 1, page 8.
Insert the battery pack into the battery port as shown.
Make sure the latch on the battery pack snaps into place
and the battery pack is secured in the product before
beginning operation.
Depress the latch and pull to release and remove the
battery pack.
NOTE: Access the DC or AC ports by sliding the door
mechanism to expose your preferred power source.
For complete charging instructions, see the operator's
manuals for your battery pack and charger.
WARNING:
Always remove battery pack or unplug extension cord
from your product when you are assembling parts,
making adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use.
Removing battery pack or unplugging extension cord
will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious
personal injury.
INSTALLING/REMOVING POWER CORD
See Figure 2, page 8.
 Place the power dial in the OFF ( 0 ) position.
 I nsert the female end of the power cord into the product
as shown.
 C onnect the male end of the power cord to the power
source.
 M ake sure the power cord is secured before beginning
operation.
NOTE: Access the DC or AC ports by sliding the door
mechanism to expose your preferred power source.
STARTING/STOPPING THE PORTABLE FAN
See Figure 3, page 9.
 Insert the battery or power cord.
NOTE: Access the DC or AC ports by sliding the door
mechanism to expose your preferred power source.
 To start the portable fan, move the dial clockwise from
the OFF (0) position.
 To stop the portable fan, place the dial in the OFF ( 0 )
position.
WARNING:
Hybrid tools are always in operating condition. Therefore,
dial should always be in the OFF ( 0 ) position, when not
in use.
CHANGING PORTABLE FAN SPEED
See Figure 3, page 9.
This fan has four modes and three speeds: Off, High, Medi-
um, and Low.
 For low speed, move the dial right to the LOW (1)
position.
 For medium speed, move the dial left to the
MEDIUM (2) position.
 F o r h i g h s p e e d , m o v e t h e d i a l l e f t t o t h e
HIGH (3) position.
TO HANG THE PORTABLE FAN
See Figure 4, page 9.
Using the key holes to hang the fan:
 Remove the battery or power cord.
 Use a #9 x 2 in. minimum screw size for mounting the
fan.
 Ensure that the screws are securely fastened into a stud
and that the screws are exposed no more than 1/2 in.
 Install the screws into the wall so that the center distance
is 3.0 in.
 Slide the fan's base over the screws until the screws
are aligned with the key holes. Insert the screws into the
keyholes and slide the fan base down to secure the fan
into place.
NOTE: Be careful not to hang the fan in such a way that
it prevents normal fan operation.
 Insert the battery or power cord.
ADJUSTABLE HEAD
See Figure 4, page 9.
The portable fan head can be set in a variety of positions
for better air circulation. To adjust the fan head, make
sure the base is secure and gently pivot the head to the
desired position.
This fan also has two tightening knobs, one on each side of
the adjustable head. Tighten the knobs by rotating clockwise
to secure the head in place. Loosen the knobs by rotating
counter clockwise to release and adjust the head.
