3. General description
3.1. Use
The wastewater lifting plant for above-ground installa-
tion promotes domestic drainage water, e.g. from sink,
shower, bathtub or washing machine, from areas below
the back flow level, or from areas which slope to the next
channel connection are too low.
The version with the pump CH140WA also promotes
chemically aggressive clear water or wastewater, such as
salt water (up to 15%) from softening plants, condensate
from condensing boilers etc. For chemically aggressive
media a consultation is necessary because the resistance
of the pump materials must be checked.
The San.iQ Plus series of waste water lifting units is not
suitable for conveying waste water and faeces.
3.2. Use types
The wastewater lifting plant is designed for the continu-
ous service of operating type S1.
3.3. Assembly
The lifting systems are made of a non-rotting water, gas
and odor-proof plastic container with a single-stage cen-
trifugal pump.
The container has one vertical inlet, four horizontal inlets
and a horizontal pressure outlet. Additionally, the con-
tainer includes an activated carbon filter to warrant odor
tightness and ventilation needs. The pressure outlet is
equipped with an integrated check valve.
The pump has a thermal switch, which switches off
the pump in case of overheating and that automatically
switches it on after cooling.

3.4. Functional description
The pumping medium passes through the various feed
streams into the container. There, it is collected until it
reaches a certain level and activates the float switch. This
turns off the pump automatically. Now the pumping me-
dium is being supplied by the pressure outlet above the
flood level of the public sewer.
