Do not draw up the fastening ele-
ments too tight to avoid damaging the
thread.
Installation and removal of protective cover (see
fig. 1)
Fig 1 shows protective cover 9 mounting / dismounting
operations
Installation and removal of plastic overlay (see
fig. 2)
Fig 2 shows plastic overlay 14 mounting / dismounting
operations
The inserting / replacing of the saw blade (see
fig. 1.2, 3)
As a result of the long use the saw
blade 17 may become quite hot and
the sharp cutting edges may injure the
user, therefore one must always use
protective gloves when inserting / replacing the
saw blade 17.
Attention: observe the following rules upon the in-
serting of the saw blade 17:
• the teeth of the saw blade 17 must face for-
ward;
• the claws on the stem of the saw blade 17 should
rest upon the saw holder;
• the saw blade 17 must fit inside the cavity of the
guide roller 7
• Remove protective cover 9 as describe above (see
fig. 1.2).
• Use Allen key 16 to loosen bolt 19 (see fig. 3.1).
• Use Allen key 15 to loosen bolt 20 (see fig. 3.3).
• Install or remove saw blade 17 (see fig. 3.2).
• Use Allen key 16 to tighten bolt 19 (see fig. 3.1).
• Use Allen key 15 to tighten bolt 20 (see fig. 3.3).
Installation / replacement of the battery (see
fig. 4)
• Press the lock of the cover 2 and remove it (see
fig. 4.1).
• Install / replace battery 21 (CR2032, 3V) Caution:
during installation of battery 21, observe correct
polarity (see fig. 4.2).
• Install cover 2 (lock of the cover 2 should snap)
Initial operating
of the power tool
Always use the correct supply voltage: the power sup-
ply voltage must match the information quoted on the
power tool identification plate.
Switching the power
tool on / off
Short-term switching on / off
To switch on, press and hold on / off switch 4, to switch
off - release it
Long-term switching on / off
Switching on:
Push on / off switch 4 and lock it in the position with
lock-on button 5
Switching off:
Push and release on / off switch 4
Stroke rate selection
Using the thumbwheel for stroke rate selection 1 one
may select the needed number of stroke of the saw
blade 17 (also when operating the power tool)
• Push on / off switch 4 and lock it in the position with
lock-on button 5
• By moving the thumbwheel for stroke rate
selection 1, select the needed number of stroke of the
saw blade 17
• 1-2 (low stroke rate) - use when sawing hard and
solid materials (alloy-free steel, non-ferrous metals
and their alloys, etc);
• 3 (medium stroke rate) - use for sawing less
hard materials (plastic, plywood, particleboards,
hard wood, etc);
• 4-5 (high stroke rate) - use for sawing soft mate-
rials (soft wood, insulating materials, etc)
Following setting up the number of
stroke rate of the saw blade 17 it is
recommended to make a test saw cut
using a spare piece of the blank part
(made of the same material as the part to be
processed).
When operating your power tool at a low speed for a
long time, it has to be cooled down for 3 minutes To
do it, set a maximum stroke rate and leave your power
tool to run idle
Pendulum rate selection
Pendulum rate facilitates selecting the optimal sawing
regime (feed velocity, the appearance of the saw cut,
etc) for the processed material
With each downward move the saw blade 17 is driven
back from the blank part which improves the release of
the sawdust, reduces the heating up and increases the
operating life of the saw blade 17 Moreover the reduc-
tion of the feed force allows the worker to operate the
instrument without getting tired
The degree of the pendulum strike may be changed
when operating the power tool The lever for pendulum
stroke adjustment 11 allows setting four steps of the
pendulum stroke:
Step 0:
No pendulum action;
Step I:
Small pendulum action;
