If the mains cable is damaged it should be replaced immediately – you must contact
NM Beauty Industries B.V. via info@gisou.com as repairs may only be performed in the
factory in which the Gisou Curling Tool was originally produced.
Never leave the Gisou Curling Tool unattended while it is connected to a power
supply.
When disconnecting the Gisou Curling Tool from the power supply, never pull the
power cable or the Gisou Curling Tool itself to unplug it from the electrical socket.
Do not wind the mains cable around the Gisou Curling Tool.
Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces.
The Gisou Curling Tool is hot while in use. Use the handle at all times. To avoid burns,
never touch the ceramic heating barrel when the Gisou Curling Tool is turned on or
cooling down..
Make sure that the mains cable is not twisted or kinked when stored.
Never use the Gisou Curling Tool where aerosol (spray) products are being used or
where oxygen is released.
Do not leave the Gisou Curling Tool switched on whilst on the floor or placed on

accepted free of charge by local waste collection points or recycling centres and recycled
in a way that environmental damage. Correct disposal will help to prevent a potentially
harmful impact on people and the environment.
DISPOSAL IN NON-EU COUNTRIES
At the end of its service life, please dispose of the Gisou Curling Tool in an environmentally-
friendly manner in line with local legislation.

WARRANTY
Your Gisou Curling Tool is warranted against original defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, when used for normal
domestic purposes, as outlined in this 'Gisou User Manual.' Please save this manual and
your proof of purchase (receipt) in order to receive service under this warranty.
NM Beauty Industries B.V. shall not be liable for costs, damages or repairs as a result, due
to, or from any:
a.
Defects caused by excessive use, improper handling and maintenance, non-
compliance with operating instructions, and normal wear and tear of expendable
components (e.g. drive components).
b.
Purchases made from unauthorised dealers.
c.
Use of the Gisou Curling Tool other than for normal domestic purposes.
d.
Attachment of the Gisou Curling Tool to the incorrect voltage.
e.
Use of Gisou Curling Tool accessories that have not been produced or recommended
by NM Beauty Industries B.V.
f.
External sources such as weather, electrical outages or power surges.
g.
Repairs or alterations carried out by unauthorised parties or agents.
h.
Minor defects which have limited effect on the value or usability of the Gisou Curling
Tool.
