Intended use
The active PA Box is for amplification and playback of audio signals from audio devices.
Only connect the input to the low-level audio outputs on audio devices.
This product is only approved for connection to 220-240 V/ 50/60 Hz AC via an earthed mains socket.
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations, therefore avoid outdoor use. Contact
with moisture, for example in bathrooms or the like, must be avoided.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves risks
such as short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt, and the housing must not be opened.

Explanation of symbols
The exclamation mark indicates important information in these operating instructions.
Please read all the instructions before using these devices; they contain important in-
formation on its proper operation.
The lightning symbol inside a triangle warns you against unprotected live components
or elements inside the enclosure or "live" connection points. Coming into contact with
these components or connection points can be fatal.
Cables connected to such connection points may only be connected by an expert or
you must use ready-to-connect cables.
The device contains no parts that are to be serviced by the user.. Therefore, do not
open the device.
The symbol with the house is used to inform the user that the device may only be oper-
ated in enclosed rooms.

D amage due to failure to follow these operating instructions will void the warranty!

W e do not accept any liability for personal injuries and material damages caused by
the improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The warranty will
be void in such cases!
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product
is not permitted.
• All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this device
must be trained and appropriately qualified and they must follow these operating
instructions.
• Never touch the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• The device is manufactured according to protection class 1. Only use a standard
mains socket (220-240 V / 50/60 Hz ) connected to the public power supply grid with
an earthed contact as the voltage source.
• Extra care should be taken when using the device for the first time. Therefore, please
follow the operating instructions carefully.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices that are con-
nected to the PA box.
• Make sure the mains cable is not pinched, bent, damaged by sharp edges or other-
wise subjected to mechanical strain. Avoid excess thermal stress on the mains cable
due to excessive heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable. This may damage the
mains cable. A damaged mains cable can result in a life-threatening electric shock.
• Do not touch, when the mains cable is damaged. First, switch off the appropriate
mains socket (e.g. via the respective RCD and the circuit breaker) and then carefully
pull the mains plug from the mains socket. Separate the mains cable from the device.
Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• To completely separate the device from the mains, you have to unplug the mains
plug from the wall socket. It is not sufficient to turn off the PA box through the on/off
switch.
• Ensure there is adequate ventilation for the device during operation. Do not cover
the unit with magazines, tablecloths, curtains etc. Keep a minimum distance of 15 cm
from other objects.
• This product is not a toy; it is not suitable for children. Children are not aware of the
potential dangers involved when using electrical devices.
• Never pour liquids over electrical devices and never place objects filled with liquid
on top of them (e.g. vases). You run the risk of causing a fire or a fatal electric shock.
If this is the case, cut the power to the appropriate mains socket (e.g. switch off the
RCD and the circuit breaker) and then remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
Disconnect all cables from the device. Do not use the product afterwards. Take it to
a specialized workshop.
• Do not place open sources of fire such as burning candles on the appliance.
• Do not store any magnetic storage media such as floppy disks, video tapes etc. in the
proximity of the PA box, as the magnetic field from the loudspeaker may corrupt the
information stored on the storage media.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music for long periods of time. This may damage
your hearing.
• Do not expose the PA box to high temperatures, drips or water spray, strong vibra-
tions or high humidity.
• Only use the product in a moderate climate, never in tropical climates.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around. It may become a dangerous
plaything for children.
• Moreover, please observe the additional safety instructions in the individual chap-
ters of these operating instructions.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Li-
ability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to
be observed. As the operator, you must obtain information from the authorities in
charge and you are responsible for observing the applicable laws and regulations.
• If in doubt about how to connect the product correctly, or should any questions arise
that are not answered in these operating instructions, please contact our technical
service or any other professional expert.
• Consult a professional if you are unsure how to operate the equipment or how to
connect it safely.
