DESCRIPTION
Due to its small size the DE05LUB110 is easy to use in all air
conditioners (ceiling, wall or floor-standing) of refrigeration ca-
pacity of
2,8 tons (34 k Btu/hr – 10 kW ) or less.

The mini FLOW ATCH 2 comes in 2 modules:

pump module (pump + control circuits)

detection module
(3 levels float: Pump shut-down, Pump start-up and alarm.)

INSTALLATION
This pump must not be installed in zones of air circulation.
2.a PUMP MODULE
Means for mains connection not provided; should be considered
in the end use.
The power supply must come from a different network than the air conditioner
supply.
Disconnect the power supply before installation.
The power cable must be connected by a qualified professional complying with
the standards in force in the country.
Use only the cable 3 drivers supplied and add a 500 mA fuse on the line.
Mains connection shall provide a protective earthing, and
shall be connected to the ground wire of the product (electri-
cal class I)

The alarm.
The output wires for alarm connections have only functional insulation with
primary. Connection to an external secondary circuit shall comply with the
insulation requirements and shall be evaluated according to the alarm device.
The alarm contact is a dry contact with a switching power of 5 A max
(resistive load 250VAC), and a switching power of minimum 10mA with
5VDC. Use the alarm to signal (visual or audible alarm) any risk of overflow
(NO contact) and to cut off refrigeration (NC contact).
Use the supplied 3-core cable as follows:
Orange = common = C Purple = normally open = NO Grey = Normally
close = NC
CONNECTION OF THE OVERFLOW SWITCH IS MANDATORY. FAIL-
URE TO DO SO WILL INVALIDATE MANUFACTURER'S
WARRANTY AND M A Y INDUCE FLOODING AND WATER DAM-
AGES. ALSO NOTE THAT THE OVERFLOW SWITCH IS ELEC-
TRONIC AND DRAWS ITS POWER DIRECTLY FROM THE PCB IN
THE PUMP, SO THE SWITCH ITSELF CANNOT OPERATE
UNLESS THE PUMP IS POWERED.
Installation of the pump module.
The pump module may be installed in the air-conditioner, in a chute (See
diagram) or in the false ceiling. Double-sided adhesive foam tape is
provided for that purpose. A space must be left around the pump module
for it to cool in the event of prolonged operation. The pump module
should not be insulated. The discharge pipe (no part of the supply) must
.
have an inside diameter of 0.16" or 0.24'' and used with the reducer
0.16" x 0.25" (part of the supply). Use the hose clamp to properly secure
the discharge hose to the pump. Make sure to observe the flow direction
indicated by the arrow on the pump module.
Risk Of Electric Shock – This pump Has Not Been Investigated For Use
In Swimming Pool Or Marine Areas
To reduce risk of electric shock, install with all electrical components
above the top grade level of the pump.
This pump is not submersible.
For indoor use only
It is imperative to use the supplied 4-core cable.
The flexible elbow (supplied) allows connection of the detection module
to the air conditioner condensate tray. Suction is via the 6.6 ft flexible
tube of
length 5.9" (supplied).
Installation of the detection module.
The detection module must be installed and fastened in a horizontal
position with the fixing/sliding rail (supplied) in dry place. Choose the
most appropriate outlet and close with the black cap the outlet which is
not used.

The outlet discharge tube of the pump module must always be
higher than the detection module. In other case, it is necessary to
connect the outlet discharge tube to another tube of a higher diameter in
order to prevent siphoning. Detailed information is available from your
nearest wholesaler.

Check that the maximum water level in the condensate tray is higher
than the alarm level in the detection unit, to prevent the condensate tray
overflowing before the alarm activates. Before finishing the installation,
it is recommended testing the correct operation of the condensate
removal pump.



