2-way Cinch Audio Switch

Intended use
The 2-way cinch audio switch is used to switch between the preamplifier output signals of audio
devices in order to operate multiple devices at one preamplifier input.
This product may only be connected to the preamplifier connectors of audio devices.
The use is only permitted in enclosed spaces and, therefore, it should not be used in the open air. Do
not expose the product to moisture, e.g. in damp locations or the like.
Any use other than that described above will lead to damage to the product and will expose you to
additional risks, such as damage of the connected devices, short circuits, fire, etc.
No part of the product may be modified or altered.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.

Functional description
The 2-way cinch audio switch extends connection options of your amplifier/preamplifier by an ad-
ditional preamplifier input.
The connected audio sources can be selected by the selector switch 1/2.
The connection is made via standard cinch sockets of these devices.
Connection
Connect to the cinch socket pairs INPUT 1 and INPUT 2 only preamplifier outputs of
audio devices.
C onnect to the cinch socket pair OUTPUT only preamplifier outputs of audio de-
vices.
Use only suitable shielded cinch cables for connection. Use of other cables may
lead to interference.

Carefully read the input and output connection section in the relevant operating
instructions of the devices that are to be connected.
Failure to comply with these instructions can lead to damage to the 2-way cinch
audio switch or any connected devices.
Switch off the power switch of the devices to be connected before connecting them
to the connection sockets and do not switch them on again until you have made all
the necessary connections and checked them.
Follow the same procedure, when changing wiring of the 2-way cinch audio switch.
• When connecting, observe the marking of the connection sockets:
R or red = right connection
L or black or white = left connection
• Connect the cinch socket pairs INPUT 1 and INPUT 2 with the outputs of audio sources.
• Connect the cinch socket pair OUTPUT with a preamplifier input of your amplifier/preamplifier.
Operation
• Switch on your audio sources and amplifier/preamplifier and start the desired music programme.
• Select an input at amplifier/preamplifier, to which the 2-way cinch audio switch is connected.
• Select the desired source device by the selector switch 1/2.
Care and maintenance
The product does not have to be serviced and, except for occasional cleaning with a soft, dry cloth,
requires no maintenance whatsoever.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surfaces.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed of in the
household waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current statu-
tory requirements.
