4-Way RCA Audio Switch

Intended use
The 4-way RCA audio selector switch is used to switch preamplifier output signals of audio devices in order
to run multiple devices on one preamplifier input.
This product may only be connected to the preamp connectors of audio devices.
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations. Outdoor use is not allowed. Do not expose the
product to moisture, e.g., in damp locations or the like.
Any use other than that described above will lead to damage to the product and will expose you to additional
risks, such as short circuits, fire, etc.
No part of the product may be modified or altered.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.

Functional description
The 4-way RCA audio switch extents the connectivity options of your amplifier / preamplifier by more preamp
inputs.
The connected audio source devices can be selected with the selector switch.
The connection is made via RCA sockets, which are standard for these devices.
Connection
Connect only preamp outputs of audio devices to the RCA socket pairs INPUT 1-4.
Connect only preamp inputs of audio devices to the RCA socket pair OUTPUT TO AMP.
Use only suitable, shielded RCA cables for connection. Use of other cables may lead to
interference.
Carefully check the relevant operating instructions of the devices that are to be con-

nected in regards to input and output wiring.
Failure to comply with these instructions can lead to damage to the 4-way RCA audio
switch or any connected devices.
Switch off the devices to be connected before connecting them. Do not switch them on
again until you have made all the necessary connections and checked them.
Follow the same procedure, when changing the connection to the 4-way RCA audio
switcher.
• When connecting, observe the colour marking of the connection sockets:
R or red= right connection
L or black or white = left connection
• Connect the RCA socket pairs INPUT 1-4 to the outputs of the audio source devices.
• Connect the RCA socket pair OUTPUT TO AMP with a preamp input of your amplifier / preamplifier.
Operation
• Turn on your audio source devices and the amplifier / preamplifier and start your favoured music pro-
gramme.
• On the amplifier / preamp select the input where the 4-way RCA audio switch is connected.
• With the selector switch SELECT INPUT, select the desired source device.
Care and maintenance
The product does not have to be serviced and, except for occasional cleaning with a soft, dry cloth, requires
no maintenance whatsoever.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surfaces.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable and must not be disposed of in the household waste!
Please dispose of the product according to the current statutory requirements, when it is no
longer of use.
