7 Operation and Cleaning
When used as intended, the product is maintenance-free. As part of regular system maintenance, the
product must undergo a visual inspection and be included in the pressure test of the container or tank.
During the pressure test, the declared limit values of the float must be adhered to.
Depending on the application, contamination or deposits may build up on the product over time. To re-
move this, a suitable cleaning agent must be used that does not affect the materials (chemically or me-
chanically). Particular attention must be paid to cable damage.
To clean the product, chapter 8.2 "Dismounting and return", Page 20 must be taken into consideration.
It must be ensured that no moisture gets into the electrical connection. It is recommended to use damp
cloths or compressed air (< 6 bar). It is not permitted to use hard or pointy brushes (e.g. wire brushes).
After repairs or after exchanging the float, the product must be tested for its intended use. In particular,
the correct installation position of the float must be ensured.
The product is neither designed nor suitable for use as a standing aid or security fixture for structures or
persons.
