IMPORTANT!
Risk of damage!
• The surface you choose must allow the screws to be securely fixed.
• When fixing to masonry, use the plugs and screws provided.
• For hollow walls, for example, use special plugs, which can be
obtained separately.
• Never use nails for securing.

4 | Installation

4.1 | Preparation

Allow sufficient time for installing the coat/helmet rack, and do the job carefully, without rushing.
Required tools: an 8 mm masonry drill bit and a power drill, a spirit level and a size 13 wrench.

4.2 | Pre-assembly

Begin by attaching the first arm section, with the hanger loops pointing downwards, to the base plate,
as shown below.

Helmet pad
Then screw the second arm section to the first.
Due to the manufacturing tolerances, you may need to press the lugs apart a little to make
space for positioning the wave spring washer.
Now install the helmet pad on the second arm section. Initially, tighten the nuts leaving enough slack
to allow the arms to be adjusted. Then align the coat/helmet rack in whatever way is most practical
for storing helmet and clothing. Then tighten the screws so that they do not give when heavy
motorbike gear is hung up, and the sections stay in their position.
