Intended Use
The product is intended to support the air circulation in dry, enclosed indoor areas. The power
supply is provided by the USB port of a computer or by a USB hub with power supply. It is also
possible to use a separate USB power supply that is able to provide power of at least 500 mA.
The sensor surface on the upper side allows you to switch the USB fan on and off or to choose
the fan speed at various levels.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these operating
instructions.

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by non-compliance
with these safety instructions. We do not assume any liability for any resulting
damage!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The
warranty will be void in such cases!
a) General
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not permitted for
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy; keep it away from children.
• Do not leave the packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become
a dangerous plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
falls, even from a low height.
b) Installation location
• The product may be used in dry, enclosed indoor areas only; it must not get damp
or wet.
• The product must not be exposed to extremes of temperature, direct sunlight or
strong vibrations.
• Choose an appropriate location for the USB fan. It has to be stable, level and suf-
fi ciently large.
• Do not place the product on valuable surfaces without using suitable protection, as
this can cause scratches or pressure marks may appear.
• When laying out the USB power cable, make sure that it cannot be damaged by
sharp edges.
• Do not operate the device in environments where there are high levels of dust,
fl ammable gases, vapours or solvents. There is a danger of fi re and explosion!
• Never place the product close to open fl ames, candles or suchlike.
c) Operation
• Never push objects through the USB fan's protective guard; there is a serious risk
of injury. In addition, this will damage the USB fan; loss of warranty/guarantee!
• When the USB fan is running, light weight objects or hair may be sucked in. Risk
of injury.
• Never block the intake and exhaust openings, since this could lead to overheating
of the USB fan. Never fasten any decorative items or similar to the USB fan.
• Operate the USB fan only using an appropriate power supply, e.g. the USB port
of a computer, the USB port of a USB hub with separate power supply or a power
supply with a USB jack.
The power supply used must be dimensioned adequately (information see chapter
"Technical data").

Getting Started and Operation
• Place the USB fan on a steady, fl at and suffi ciently large surface.
• Connect the low-voltage circular socket to a suitable power supply (e.g. the USB port of a
computer, the USB port of an USB hub with separate power supply or a power supply with an
USB jack) using the provided USB power cable.
• Touch the circular sensor surface on the upper side of the USB fan repeatedly in order to
select the desired function. The LED that is integrated under the sensor surface displays the
respective function:

• The orientation of the air jet can be adjusted by rotating the USB fan in its foot.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Disconnect the USB fan from the power supply; pull the low-voltage circular connector from
the jack on the USB fan.
Maintenance or repairs may only be performed by qualifi ed personnel or a specialised repair
shop. The product contains no parts that require servicing. Therefore, do not open/dismantle it.
Use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not apply too much pressure on the housing; this
could result in scratch marks.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.

since these could damage the housing or even impair operation.
