Axis Calibration

Axis calibration is required to compensate errors arising due to wear and tear in
machine, inherent encoder errors, encoder misalignment etc. Each axis can be
calibrated for Linear errors or Segmented errors as applicable.
6.1.1.
User will need to edit compensation values before applying compensation. For this,
Go to Setup X or Y axis Settings Edit compensation LComp / SComp.
6.1.1.1.
Linear error compensation can be applied, if the results of the comparison with a
reference standard show a linear deviation over the whole measuring length. In this
case the error can be compensated by the calculation of a single correction factor.
When you enter into this mode,cursor will be at display value for editing.
i. Enter display value using numeric keys and press enter. The Disp Value will
be updated. Now use
