To disconnect the sensor from the hob, press the ON/OFF button on the external sensor for at
least 3 seconds.
External sensor accessories
- Tong for pans: Makes it possible to attach the temperature sensor to pans or low saucepans.
- USB-MicroUSB charging cable: For charging the external sensor's battery. A universal mobile
charger can also be used as long as it does not exceed 5V and 1000 mA. We recommend fully
charging the battery before the first use.
BOOSTER FUNCTION:
This function makes it possible for the cooking zones to receive power above the nominal power
(the number of zones using the booster simultaneously depends on the power supplied to the
different zones, which must be lower than the worktop's maximum power).
To activate the Booster function, select a cooking zone then press power level "B" or the "Booster"
icon. If available power is not sufficient, the power boost will not be allowed. The Booster's
activation time is limited to 5 minutes. After the automatic deactivation of the Booster, the zone
will continue to operate at power level "9". If the cookware is removed, the deactivation time will
continue being counted.
RESIDUAL HEAT:
After using a cooking zone, the corresponding circle is shown in red to indicate that there is
residual heat. This warning disappears when the cooking zone becomes cool again.
AUTOMATIC SAFETY SWITCH-OFF
Each cooking zone will be switched off after a preset maximum time, depending on the power
/ temperature level. Each operation in the cooking zone resets the countdown of this maximum
time.
PAN DETECTION:
If, with the cooking zone in use, the system detects that there is not a pan or dish or that the
one present is unsuitable, this is indicated by a symbol in the corresponding zone (19). The
programmed cooking zone switches off automatically after 1 minute if no suitable pan or dish
has been recognized.
SETTINGS MENU:
To access the settings menu press the "Settings" icon (7) on the side bar. Any changes to the
settings are made by returning to the main settings menu.
Display:
To select the screen's brightness, use the control bar.
Sound:
You can mute the sound (except the alarm), adjust the volume, or turn off the button click sounds.
