During operation, the following environmental conditions must be

This paragraph describes the fundamental operating procedures.
Detailed information and operating procedures that involve optional
connections or options are supplied in the paragraph "USE" of the
appendix "Technical Information".
Make all vacuum manifold and electrical connections and refer to the
connected pump instruction manual prior to operating the controller.
WARNING!
To avoid injury to personnel and damage to the equipment, if the pump is
laying on a table make sure it is steady. Never operate the pump if the pump
inlet is not connected to the system or blanked off.
