7. Adjust the cutting angle (See Fig. G)
Your trimmer has a four position tilting head.
This can be adjusted to achieve a comfortable
and efficient working angle. This allows
controlled trimming around flowerbeds, under
shrubs, around trees and fence posts etc.
To change the angles simply depress the
flattening head adjustment button and move
the motor head to desired position, then
release the button.
Always disconnect the trimmer before making
adjustments!

OPERATION
Always wear the eye protection. Never lean
over the trimmer head. Rocks or debris can
ricochet or be thrown into eyes and face and
cause blindness or other serious injury. When
operating unit, observe the following:
Wear eye protection and heavy clothing.
Hold front handle with one hand and auxiliary
handle with the other hand. Keep unit below
waist level. Work only from your right to your
left to ensure debris is thrown away from you.
Without bending over, keep line near and
parallel to the ground (perpendicular when
edging) and not crowded into material being
cut.
Make sure that line is fed out before
operation. Make sure motor is up to full
speed before trimming.
1. Insert the battery pack into grass trimmer's
battery port as shown in Fig.A5.
2. To switch on the trimmer, press the safety
switch, then close upon the On/Off switch.
Release the On/Off switch to stop. (See Fig. I)

3. If you find that the nylon line is too short
follow the instruction as in 'Automatic line feed
system'' or 'To manually feed the line'.
• Let the trimmer run for a few seconds
without touching the working area, and allow
the trimmer to cut the line.
• Use the trimmer at an angle of
approximately 20 to the working area.
