rotating, press the start/stop button.
4. Control the speed by moving the speed button (2).
5. You can use the variable foot controller (VC70) to vary the speed of the
hand piece as well, by adjusting the pressure applied to the variable foot
controller. In this case, the maximum speed is limited by the speed control
knob (2).
6. The foot controller can override the start/stop button.
7. While at work, for safety reasons, switch from forward to reverse is not
possible.
Safety System
Circuit breaker
The circuit breaker will temporary cut off the power to the fi le and the overload
led will turn orange (7) during following circumstances:
• When the motor of the hand piece is overloaded.
• When the motor of the hand piece is locked and stopped.
• When the ring is turned by mistake during operation.
You can reset the circuit breaker by stepping on foot controller (VC70) or push
the start/stop button (9).
Heat sensor
The heat sensor will temporary cut off the power to the hand piece. The
overload led will turn yellow when the output is overheated.
To reset the circuit breaker press the start/stop button. If the temperature
is not safe for use, the power will be cut off again immediately. After a view
minutes the machine will automatically be working again.
When malfunctioning
When the machines doesn't function at all, fi rst check the plug. When the
power supply is working, a fuse may have blown.

How to change bits
The electric fi le comes with a original 2.34 mm diameter protective bit.
Please use only bits with 2.34 mm shaft.
1. Hold the hand piece in your hand, turn Set Ring fully towards release
position. Take out the protective bit, put your bit into the bottom of
the collet.
2. Turn Set Ring back to set position, where the collet is secured/closed.
3. Check if the bit can rotate using your fi ngers. Avoid injuring your
fi ngers.

will learn how to work quick and safe. During the course you will also get
advice on how to maintain your equipment.
Warranty
4. Motor Cap Magnetic offers a two year warranty on the electric equipment. During this
time Magnetic repairs or replaces the product for free, if you can show the
proof of purchase and the warranty certifi cate. Read – for you own safety
benefi t – the following conditions regarding the warranty of your electric
equipment. In case of malfunction and claim, fi rst contact the local Magnetic
Distribution Centre you bought the machine.
Limited warranty
Warranty covers manufacturer defects only and only if the instructions for use
were followed. This electric fi le system is designed for use in the application
of artifi cial nails. It's use is restricted to professional, skilled nail technicians.
Magnetic takes no responsibility when the machine is operated by unskilled
persons.
The following conditions void warranty after:
• Using oil or grease on hand piece or control box;
• Servicing or dissembling the hand piece or control box by any other person
than employees of the Magnetic Nail Academy;
• Dropping or excessive shock to hand piece or control box;
• Immersing the hand piece or control box in any type of sterilizing or
cleaning solution;.
• Inserting bent or damaged bits in the hand piece. When operation the
hand piece with damaged bits, the bearings will be damaged.
• Returned goods which were damaged by insuffi cient packing, are the
responsibility of the sender.
• This warranty does not affect your legal rights.
