6.4.2 Removing the crimping machine from the fitting

FITTING.

7 LED indicators

The control panel is composed of three (3) LEDs, each representing different statuses.

Description
When powering on the crimping machine
(ON/OFF button pressed), the 3 LEDs
are lit green for 1 second. The tool is
ready to run.
When the tool is connected to the USB
port, the „Maintenance‟ LED is lit blue
during the connection.
After one cycle, of the battery is not
powerful enough to launch another one,
the „Battery‟ LED switches on in red for
10 seconds. The machine does not start
and stops automatically.
If the crimping cycle is correct (maximum
power reached by the machine), the
„Cycle‟ LED flashes green for 4 seconds.
During this period, the machine does not
restart.
Battery charge indication.
After powering on the machine (ON/OFF
button), if the „Battery‟ LED is lit green,
the battery is fully charged.
Battery charge indication.
After powering on the machine (ON/OFF
button), if the „Battery‟ LED is lit red, the
battery has a low charge.
When the machine reaches 29 500
cycles, the 'Maintenance' LED flashes
orange. After each correct cycle, the
machine locks. Power off and power
back on the machine (ON/OFF button).
This notifies the user that maintenance is
imminent (within 50 cycles before final
machine locking).

8 Maintenance and servicing

WARNING: disconnect the battery before any adjustment or maintenance operation.

8.1 General inspection

Check regularly all fastening elements to ensure they are properly tightened. If a screw is loose, tighten it immediately to
prevent any risk.
After 30,000 cycles, the „Maintenance‟ LED stays lit red for 10 seconds and the machine stops automatically to indicate the
crimping machine requires maintenance. The crimping machine is locked and prevents the performance of additional
crimping cycles. The user must return the crimping machine to the After Sales Service.
Open the jaws by hand by pressing both ends of the jaw and remove
the jaws from the fitting.

When powering off the crimping machine
(ON/OFF button pressed), the 3 LEDs are lit
red for 1 second. The tool switches off.
If the temperature is outside the temperature
of use, the „Cycle‟ and „Maintenance‟ LEDs
flash in yellow and orange for 10 seconds.
The machine does not start and stops
automatically.
If the machine meets a mechanical problem,
the „Maintenance‟ LED flashes red for 10
seconds. The machine switches off
automatically. The user must return the
machine to the After Sales Service for
repairing.
If the crimping cycle is not correct (trigger
released before crimping end or good
crimping parameters not reached), the „Cycle‟
LED flashes red. The machine is locked.
Power off and power back on the machine
(ON/OFF button).
Battery charge indication.
After powering on the machine (ON/OFF
button), if the „Battery‟ LED is lit orange, the
battery is half charged.
When the machine reaches 29 000 cycles, the
„Maintenance‟ LED stays lit orange to indicate
the future maintenance.
When the machine reaches 30 000 cycles, the
„Maintenance‟ LED flashes red for 10 seconds
and the machine switches off automatically.
The machine can no longer run any cycles.
The machine must be returned to the After
Sales Service.
