4.2 Battery and charger
In extreme situations, the battery may release liquid ; avoid any contact. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with
water. If the liquid touches the eyes, call a physician immediately.

• Recharge the battery only with the charger supplied with the tool.
• Do not touch the charger contacts.
• Do not expose the battery or charger to rain or snow.
• Do not recharge the battery in a location exposed to direct sunshine.
• Do not recharge the battery in the presence of flammable liquids or gases.
• The charger must be used in a temperature range of 10°C to 40°C.
• Check the ventilation slots on the charger are not obstructed.
• Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.
• The batteries may leak when damaged or used in inappropriate conditions.
• Avoid any contact between the battery and metallic objects (nail, screw, etc.) when it is not on the charger or on the
machine to prevent short-circuits.
• Never use a damaged charger.
• Never use the charger if the cable or plug is damaged.
• Never use a damaged battery, change it immediately.
• Never disassemble the charger or battery.
• Do not attempt to use the charger to recharge non rechargeable batteries.
• Do not overcharge the battery.
4.3 Disposing the batteries

LI-ION BATTERIES MUST BE

DISPOSED AS SPECIFIED IN HEALTHY
ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES
This may cause a fire or an injury. Before disposing the batteries,
protect the exposed terminals using thick insulating tape to prevent
short-circuits.
Most industrial supply distributors and suppliers of office equipment
offer to collect and recycle batteries.
