SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please note the following aspects prior to any commissioning:
A. The heating blanket may only be used with the controller supplied.
B. Power requirements for the device: 230 VAC.
C. If there are any problems with the device, please send it to the manufacturer.
D. Only for indoor use.
E. When using an electrical device near children, conscientious
supervision is required.
DANGER!
•
Do not bring the mains plug into direct contact with water or other liquids.
•
Do not use the device in the bathtub, shower, pool, sauna or outdoors.
•
Before using the device, verify every time that all components of the device are in a flawless state. In case
of a defect or a malfunction, switch off the device immediately and disconnect the power adapter plug form
the grid.
•
Repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer. Do not open the device. The individual device
components may not be disassembled, repaired or modified.
•
Do not carry or pull the device by the mains cable. Disconnect the cable from the socket by pulling the plug,
not the cable.
•
Do not pull the mains cable across sharp edges, do not clamp it, do not let it hang loose, do not lay or hang
it over hot objects (e.g. stove plates) or open flames, and keep away from heat or oil.
•
Only use extension cables after having verified that they are in a flawless state.
•
Do not use the device if the mains cable is damaged, the device fell down or it came into contact with water.
•
Do not insert any objects in the openings of the device.
•
Do not place the device directly in front of an air conditioning unit or any other electrical device.
•
The device may not be used by small children (0-3 years).
•
The device may be used by children from 8 years and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities or a lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety of if such a person has instructed them accordingly about the use of the device so that they understand
the associated risks.
•
Children may not play with the device.
•
Cleaning and maintenance tasks may not be performed by children without supervision.
•
An electronic device is not a toy. Children do not recognize the risks which can occur when handling
electronic devices. Use and store the device out of the reach of children.
•
Always disconnect the mains plug from the socket before filling or emptying the product.
•
Before connecting the device to your power supply, make sure that it is switched off and that the electric
voltage indicated on the rating plate is the same as that of your socket.
•
Only insert the plug in the socket if the device is switched off.
•
If the mains cable is damaged, the device must not be used any longer. For safety reasons, the mains cable
may only be replaced by an authorised service centre.
•
Do not touch the mains plug when you are standing in the water and always touch the plug with dry hands.
•
Avoid any contact between the device and pointed or sharp objects.
•
Position the mains cable in such a way that there is no risk of falling.
•
Switch off all functions after use and pull out the plug from the socket.
