This is an i-Size Enhanced Child Restraint System. It is approved
according to Regulation No.129, for use in, i-Size compatible vehicle
seating positions as indicated by vehicle manufacturers in the vehicle
users' manual. If in doubt, consult either the Enhanced Child Restraint
System manufacturer or the retailer. It will fit vehicles with positions
approved as ISOFIX positions (as detailed in vehicle handbook),
depending on the category of the child seat and of the fixture. The
product is only suitable for cars with the ISOFIX seat fixing. The
product is to be secured by means of an ISOFIX child restraint system.
The Easymaxi Base should only be used when the airbags have been
deactivated.
1 Insert the rebound bar into the 'Easymaxi Base Fix' top holes, see
figure. Make sure it is securely attached before use.
2 Lower ISOFIX attachment arms into the horizontal position.
3 Place Easymaxi Base FIX on car seat as shown.
4 If needed, extend the ISOFIX attachment arms to the maximum
position. Then insert ISOFIX attachment arms into ISOFIX car
device (figure 4). You should hear a click when this is inserted
correctly. Press the buttons and push base against the backrest of
the seat so that the base is firmly situated.

5 Press adjusting button of the supporting leg to raise or lower it to
the proper height.
Make sure that supporting leg is firmly pressed against the floor of
the vehicle until the GREEN indicator is showed (see figure 5).

6 Adjust the level of Base by regulating the knob on top of Base, see
figure 6.
WARNING: As soon as half of the bubble is visible stop
adjusting. The bubble does NOT need to be in the centre of the
glass.
7 Before placing child's seat on base, verify that the metal pin on
base is unlocked (B), by pressing on metal pin. If it does not work
as a spring, it means that the supporting leg leg (C) is NOT firmly
pressed against floor of the vehicle. Child's seat will NOT fit onto
base if pin is locked (A).
Place child's seat into the attachment device of the
Easymaxi Base FIX. Lock will automatically engage.
