Assembly Instructions
Read these instructions carefully before assembling the product or using it for the
first time. They contain important information for your safety and for the correct
use and maintenance of this KETTLER product. Keep the instructions in a safe pla-
ce for information or for ordering spare parts.
This KETTLER product has been designed in accordance with the latest standards of safety
and subjected to constant quality monitoring. The data gained from this quality process is
then incorporated in the development of our products. For this reason, we reserve the right
to make changes in design and technology in order to offer our customers products of the
highest standard of quality at all times. In spite of this, should you have any ground for com-
plaint, please contact your KETTLER dealer.
For your safety
DANGER!
The workstand must only be used for its intended purpose, i.e. for suspending
!
a bicycle for assembly or maintenance purposes.
DANGER!
Any other use is impermissible and potentially dangerous. The manufacturer
!
cannot be held responsible for damages caused by unintended use.
DANGER!
Please note that considerable shearing forces may occur near the hinges due
!
to the folding mechanism of the ground tube.
DANGER!
Keep children at a distance while assembling the products (small parts can
!
be swallowed).
Damaged components can impair your safety and the service life of the device. You must
■
therefore replace damaged or worn components immediately and refrain from using the
device until it has been maintained. If necessary, only use genuine Kettler spare parts.
The workstand corresponds to the stipulated safety provisions. Improper repairs and struc-
■
tural changes (disassembly of genuine parts, attachment of impermissible parts, etc.) can
result in dangers for the user.
In the case of regular use, perform regular checks on all device parts, especially the scr-
■
ews, at appropriate intervals.

As regards handling
Ensure that the workstand is not used before the assembly process has been properly
■
completed and checked.
Only position the workstand on an even subsurface.
■
Check that all clamped connections and screw connections are secure before starting
■
work.
When clamping and removing the bicycle, it is advisable to obtain the assistance of a
■
second person.
As far as is possible, the bicycle should be clamped in or near the vertical fixed pivot
■
axis. It is essential that you check that the bicycle is secure in the clamping jaws and that
the workstand is in a secure position before starting work on your bicycle.
Remember that the physical strength of children is, under certain circumstances, not suf-
■
ficient to clamp the bicycle securely and properly.
