Installation of the helical-shaped ground socket
Choose a location where the clothes dryer can rotate freely. Depending on the soil you can either
screw-in the ground socket or fix it in concrete.
1. Remove the protective caps
2. Hook the cover in the holder of the helical-shaped ground socket
Screw-in the ground socket

4. Insert the screw-in tool into the ground socket and screw the ground socket clockwise into the
ground until the top edge is level with the soil.
5. Remove the screw-in tool and also any soil that may have penetrated out of the ground socket.
6. Place the clothes dryer with the main standard, until the arrow mark, into the ground socket.
Please make sure your clothes dryer is in a perpendicular position (see fig. G). You can check this
by using a sprit level.
You can now use the clothes dryer.
Fixing the ground socket into concrete
If you want to put the clothes dryer in a location with sandy or stony soil you should fix the ground
socket with concrete. This will ensure a firm footing.
1. Dig a hole with a diameter of about 40 cm and a depth of 30 cm with a spade or a shovel
(see fig. G).
2. Wrap newspaper around the lower end of the ground socket
prevents the holes at the bottom from being concreted and penetrated water can drain from the
ground socket.

3. Put the spacer
4. Fix the ground socket into the concrete according to the concrete specified procedure. The
newspaper at the bottom of the ground socket is also concreted.
5. Place the clothes dryer with the main standard, until the arrow mark, into the ground socket,
before the concrete is hard. Please make sure your clothes dryer is in a perpendicular position
(see fig. G). You can check this by using a sprit level.
6. Remove the clothes dryer from the ground socket and wait until the concrete is completely
hardened.
You can now use the clothes dryer.
