Test Principle
Glucose in the blood sample will react to the electrodes in the test strip,
generating an electrical current that will stimulate a chemical reaction.
This reaction is measured by the Gluceo ne® meter and displayed as your
blood glucose result.
The Gluceo ne® Blood Glucose Monitoring System is plasma-calibrated
to allow easy comparison of results with laboratory methods.
Blood Glucose Monitoring Systems which are calibrated against a whole
blood method may have di erent results in comparison to Gluceo ne®
Blood Glucose Monitoring System.
The laboratory system used for calibration of the Gluceo ne® Blood Glu-
cose Monitoring System is YSI 2300 STAT plus which is equipped with a
glucose oxidase system.
Note
< Maintaining the Gluceo ne® Blood Glucose Meter >
1. Do not assemble or disassemble the Blood Glucose Meter.
2. Store your Blood Glucose Meter in a dry place.
3. Avoid getting dirt and moisture on your Blood Glucose Meter.
4. Do not store the Gluceo ne® meter in places where chemicals or gas
may occur.
5. Keep out of direct sunlight.
