Troubleshooting
Whenever the appliance fails to work, check for a solution from the following list before calling for Technical
Assistance Centre.

Some problems are indicated by one or two lights flashing rapidly: make a note of which lights are flashing before
calling Assistance.
Malfunction:
The dishwasher does not start.
No water enters the dishwasher.
No water drains out from the
dishwasher.
The dishwasher m akes
excessive noise.
The dishes a nd glasses are
covered in a white film or
lim escale deposits.
The dishes a nd glasses are
streaked or have a bluish
tinge.
The crockery has not been dried
properly.
The dishes are n ot cle an.
Tap shut-off a larm .
(several short beeps are emitted)

Possible causes / Solutions:
The plug h as not b een insert ed into the elect rical socket
properly, or the re is no power in t he house.
The dishwasher door has not be en shut prope rly.
A delayed start has been programmed (see Start-up and use).
There is no wate r in the mains supply.
The water inlet hose is bent (see Installation).
The dishwasher cycle has not ye t finished.
The water outle t hose is b ent (see Installation) .
The drain duct is bl ocked.
The filter is clo gged up with foo d residu es.
The dishes ar e rattlin g against each oth er or aga inst the
sprayer a rms.
The level of the refine d salt is low or t he dosa ge s etting is not
suited to the hard ness of the water (see R inse aid and salt ).
The lid on th e salt dispe nser is not closed p rope r ly.
The rinse aid has been used u p or t he dosa ge is too low.
The crocke ry is m ade f rom non -stick mate rial.
The rinse aid dos age is too high .
The rinse aid has been used u p or t he dosa ge is too low (see
R inse aid and salt).
The rinse aid dis pense r setting is not high enoug h.
A wash cycle without a drying pro gramme has be en selected.
The racks ar e ov erloa ded (see Loa ding the racks ).
The crocke ry has not been a rran ged well.
The spraye r arms ca nnot move freely.
The wash cycle is too gentle (s ee W ash cycles).
The dete rgent h as not b een measu red ou t cor rec tly or it is not
suited to the type of wash cycle (see Start -up a n d use).
The filter is di rty or blocked (see Care a nd maint enance).
The refine d salt level is low (see R inse aid and s alt).
Turn on th e tap and the applian ce will start aft er a few
minutes.
The applianc e lock has been activa ted b ecause no action was
taken when the beeps* sounde d. Switch off the m achine using
the ON/OFF button , turn on the tap an d switch th e machine
back on aft er 20 sec onds by pressing the same button. R e-
progra mme the machine an d res ta rt the wash cy cle.
Switch off the machine by pressing the ON/OFF button an d
clean the filte rs (see Main tenance ), then switch t he
dishwasher back o n by p ressing the same bu tton . R e-
progra mme the m achine an d resta rt the wash cy cle.
Switch off the applianc e by p ressing the ON/OFF button an d
switch it back on af ter a mi nute. If the ala rm cont inues, shut
off the water tap to eliminate th e risk of flo oding, remove the
plug from the elect rical socket and call A ssistan ce.
