Venting the Oil Reservoir

To avoid accidental escape of oil during
transport the oil reservoir cap is fully
closed for shipping.
Before initial operation the oil reservoir
cap must be opened so much that air
can escape from the reservoir.
A
Caution!
When the splitter is working the oil
reservoir cap must be opened to the
extent that the hydraulic oil reservoir
is vented.
1.
Open oil reservoir cap (23) one full
turn, until the air can escape from
the reservoir.

Specifications"):
Outlets with neutral wire, properly
installed, grounded and tested.
Mains
must conform with the data
stated on the splitter's nameplate.
Fuse protection by a residual cur-
rent device (RCD) of 30 mA fault
current sensivity.
System impedance Z

Note
Check with your local Electricity
20
Board or electrician if in doubt whether
your house service connection meets
these requirements.

Initial Operation

A
Keep clear of the moving split-

To ensure safe transport, the splitting
knife is retained in the lowest position
for shipping. When the splitter is
turned ON the splitting knife raises
automatically. During initial opera-
