6.1 Mode of operation
The LAMBDA Electric cylinder and LAMBDA Colonne drives are traversed using the LBG cont-
rollers and LBS controllers. Depending on the version, up to three drives can be connected to the
controller. You use a hand switch to operate the controller.

6.2.1 Duty cycle
It is absolutely necessary that you observe the permitted controller duty cycle of 30 per cent ED/10
min. (switch on the drive for max. 3 minutes and then rest for 7 minutes), in order to avoid
damage.
You must take note of duty cycle of the drive connected in all cases. In some cases, this may be
lower. You will find the stipulated duty cycles on the type plate.
If you do not observe the duty cycles, you can damage controllers and drives!
