be unsure about the quality or composition of the water in your area, contact
the caretaker or the provider of drinking water.
Tip:
• The efficiency of the cartridge can be inspected with a simple test. Hold a
small mirror in the fog for a few seconds. If there are then white deposits
(calcium carbonate) on the mirror, then the cartridge needs changing.
Operating the ultrasonic humidifier
On/off Swich
Press the on/off switch (7) to turn the air humidifier on and off.
Heating mode
The button for heating (12) is used to turn the pre-heating on (symbol ap-
pears on the display) and off. When it is on; the water is pie-heated to
80°C before it enters the fogging chamber. The fog is now at a comfortable
40°when it is emitted from the appliance. This is advantageous as it does
not cause the room temperature to fall, in addition, there is substantial im-
provement in maintaining the purity of the water (bacteria are killed).
Timer mode
You can use Timer (11) to determine the operating time- it can be regulated
between 1 and 8 hours or for continuous operation. If the timer has been
activated, the symbol "TIME" appears on the display.
„Auto/Sleep" mode
Pressing Button „Auto/Sleep" (10) activates the automatic mode. If the au-
tomatic function has been added, the ideal humidity in relation to tempera-
ture is maintained. It is regulated according to the emission quantity and
the preset desired value. If the SLEEP function is set; the desired humidity is
60%, the timer is automatically set for 6 hours; the heating is turned on. In
addition; the emission quantity is regulated in dependency on the difference
between desired and current value.
Set humidity
Set the desired humidity in % by pressing Button "Desired" (14). We rec-
ommend a relative humidity between 40% and 60%. The appliance can be
regulated from 40% to 75%. If the humidity exceeds the desired selling,
the appliance turns itself off. The appliance does not turn itself off if it has
been set for continuous operation. The desired value is shown while you are
making the selection.
Regulate ouput with the button „Level"
You can regulate the fog ouput by pressing Button "level" (13) several times.
The symbol will show output level.
Symbol for „no water"
The transparent water tank makes is easy to see how much water is in the
appliance. In addition, the appliance shows on the display when water must
be refilled (no water, 15).
