See operation instructions.
8. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Screw the suction hose and the dispenser hose tightly to their connectors (3, 8).
Mount the dispenser nozzle to the dispenser hose.
Put the suction hose into the diesel tank/barrel and start the pump.
If the pump loses power check for debris that may be clogging the filter.
All connections must be air-tight to ensure proper operation of the pump. When the pump is
activated, never leave the dispenser nozzle closed for more than 3 minutes.t
Risks associated with extreme temperatures
Freezing temperatures may cause the diesel to flocculate and clog/freeze the filter and cause
damage to the pump. Very high temperatures (35°C and above) may cause the plastic parts on the
product to deform. The pump should be operated within reasonable temperature limits in a dry, well
ventilated place without prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Calibration
The meter is set to a pressure of 1,5 bar (21 PSI).
It may be necessary to re-calibrate the meter from time to time to ensure accurate results.
remove the cover (11) to reveal the set screw
stop the flow of liquid by closing the nozzle while the pump is operating
set the meter to zero
open the nozzle and fill a gauged canister of at least 20l capacity.
compare the value shown on the meter with the amount of liquid in the gauged canister
- value too high: turn the set screw counterclockwise
- value too low: turn set screw clockwise.
repeat this process untill the value on the meter is correct
put the cover back in place
please note that the meter on the pump is not suitable for commercial use since the tolerances
exceed the limits for commercial meters!
