ASSEMBLY
1. Quick connect assembly
a. Prior to assembly apply regular
thread sealer tape to the
quick-connect hose coupling
b. Tight the quick-connect using
the proper wrench.
2. Threaded barrel assembly
a. Prior to assembly apply high
density thread sealer tape to
the thread barrel.
b. Hand tight firmly the thread barrel
to the discharge valve until the endflange is facing up.
c. Screw the locking ring to secure the thread barrel discharge valve.
Helpful hint:
Slightly fill in the tank with air and apply soapy waterto check fitting connections for air leaks.
OPERATIONS
When using, always place gently the Bead Seater on the ground.
Leave the input valve of the Bead Seater open when not in use.
Do not store air in the tank.
Do not discharge the tank in the direction of anyone.
Always wear safety glasses and ear protections when using the Bead Seater.
GENERAL OPERATING RULES TO ENSURE PROPER SEATING
Prepare each wheel i.e. mounting tires on clean rims.
Make sure all tire beads are lubricated properly before using the bead seater.
Always hold the bead seater so that the thread barrel is pointing directly onto the gap between the tire and the rim.
For the most effective result position your bead seater where the gap is the largest. This will allow the tire to
get the maximum of air supply.
