Risk of damage!
The temperature range is between 40°C and 70°C. For shoes or leather items, a
maximum temperature of 45°C is recommended. If the drying temperature is set
too high, leather and other fabrics (e.g. technical textiles with a membrane, such
as Gore-Tex, Sympatex, Outdry, Hipora or mcFIT) may be damaged.
• Before setting the temperature, you should check whether the item you wish to
dry is particularly sensitive. In case of doubt, choose a lower temperature than
the factory setting.

8.4 | Restoring factory settings

Your Dryer has the following factory settings:

Drying temperature
(DRY °C)
To restore the Dryer to the factory settings, press the Setting button and hold it down until the LED
display starts to flash.

9 | Storage

Store the Universal Dryer and its accessories at a temperature between -10°C and +60°C and a relative
humidity of 0-99% (non-condensing).

10 | Cleaning

NOTICE!

Never immerse the Louis Universal Dryer in water or other liquids.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the Universal Dryer can lead to damage of the dryer.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles,
or sharp or metallic cleaning objects such as knives, hard spatulas or similar.
These can damage the surfaces.
Please clean the air vents with a damp, soft cloth before and after use. The same applies after drying
shoes and before drying baby items. Use a soft brush to remove dust and dirt from the channel grilles.
Use a damp cloth with a little liquid soap to clean the surfaces of the air vent and base. Dry the unit
with a cloth. Use a brush to remove dust and soft, small particles in the air channel grille. Use the dryer
on a solid surface.
