USER MANUAL
The installation, commissioning, maintenance and decommissioning of the equipment must be performed by a
qualified technician. Proper installation and regular maintenance ensures long life to the kettle.
Filling procedure
• DO NOT turn on any heat source connected to the storage tank until filling it;
• Ensure that all installation requirements, electrical and safety, have been met;
• Check all plumbing and electrical connections are properly connected;
• Make sure that unused connections are closed with sealing plugs;
• Open the bleed valve on the set which is connected to the kettle and start slowly filling;
• Let the unit fill, checking the bleeding air from the open tap ; let out of the water to allow the flushing of the pipes;
• Close the bleed valve;
• Open the taps remaining to eliminate the residual air in the system;
• Close all the taps and check for water leaks in the system;
• Fill any circuits affecting internal heat exchangers to accumulation;
• Test manually the pressure regulating valve and the safety valves on each hydraulic circuit, ensuring that the water
flows freely from the discharge;
Emptying procedure:
• Check that the heat source connected to the boiler and any loose electrical connections are off;
• Disconnect the water supply to the accumulation;
• Open a bleed valve on the set connected to the boiler to allow the entry of air into the system;
• Open the discharge of the system, paying attention to the high temperature of the exhaust as it could cause
damage to property or persons.
Procedure for Disposal and Recycling:
• The company that installs the product is responsible for disposal of the packaging;
• The system has been made by many recyclable materials;
• The product and accessories that cannot be disposed of with household waste must be disposed of by qualified and
authorized in compliance with all environmental regulations of the country of installation.
RULES OF INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
• Install the sealed reservoir and protected from the weather on a solid and stable base that can support the weight
of a full tank;
• Always provide proper drainage in the utility room in the event of possible leakage from the tank;
• The installation of the insulation (if any) must take place before the water connections; do not solder it light fires
near the insulation to prevent the onset of possible fires;
• Do not use the tank for mobile installations or subject to strong vibrations: guarantee no vibrations on the body of
the kettle through flexible hoses anti-vibration;
• Ensure the electrical insulation around the tank by means of piping fittings dielectrics;
• Always provide the grounding occurred, the tank is that the pipes connected to it;
• Pay attention to possible electrochemical reactions when choosing the material used for the hydraulic connections
(do not use galvanized fittings or iron for installation on tanks stainless steel);
• The chemical composiHon of the water content must never exceed the values established by DirecHve N ° 98/83 /
EC;
• If it is necessary to provide a reservoir upstream of the water treatment plant to achieve the parameters of the law,
it must be measured in accordance with current regulations (UNI 9182, UNI CTI 8065, etc.);
• Install a pressure reducer upstream of the system, as far as possible from the tank, set to a pressure not higher than
the maximum permissible operating;
• Install hydropneumatic expansion vessels suitably sized upstream of the accumulation and on all circuits affecting
any internal exchangers accumulation;
• The use of the product must comply with the limits of pressure and temperature eligible shown on the label;
• Install a safety valve is not excluded either that the circuit on the circuit of the accumulation of any internal
exchangers; these valves must be of suitable size in accordance with relevant legislation on the subject and must be
calibrated at a pressure not exceeding the respective maximum operating pressures on the label;
