• The air conditioner must be connected to an electrical socket providing 220-240V/50Hz.
• Install the indoor unit in the room where the air conditioner is to operate. It has to be placed
on "a flat surface".
• The 2 rear rollers are fitted with a brake (8) allowing the FA9CM to be locked in a stable posi-
tion. Do not forget to release the brake whenever you wish to move your FA9CM air conditio-
ner.
• Place the air conditioner near a window, extend the hot air
outlet tube (11) enough to reach the opening, half-close the
window (Fig. 1).
Note: do not put objects in front of the hot air outlet tube
which obstruct it (e.g. shutters).
Make sure that the air is not directed onto plants or ani-
mals.
• Your FA9CM is fitted with a water evacuation pipe, the ope-
ning being situated on the right hand side of the connec-
tions of the indoor unit (9).
If the hot air outlet tube is positioned at a height higher than 1,60 m. it is recommended to
evacuate the water through the (9) hose, which is placed on the body of the appliance, by re-
moving the cap.
• Failure to comply with these two instructions may hinder the correct functioning of the con-
densation water evacuation (dehumidification) and in this case, water leakages, coming from
the inside unit, may occur.
