5. Assembly and installation

5.1 Step 1
The AudioPoint has to be mounted permanently (e.g. in a wall). Two in-wall installation electrical outlets are needed with
60 mm Ø. The display unit is hardwired to the lower section! The rotating display enables vertical installation or horizontal
installation with the speaker on the right-hand side.

• Install in-wall installation electrical outlets at the suitable location vertically or horizontally. (1).
• A second speaker can be connected to terminals 1 and 2 at the back of the speaker (5).
Terminals 3, 4, 5 serve as the AUX-IN input for a fixed external audio source (AUX).
• Place lower section with loose display unit in built-in sockets and secure with screws (2+3).
Important! Horizontal installation with the speaker
on the left-hand side is not possible (4) !
Notes:
– The safety instructions must be observed at installation.
– Before installation, check whether there is a good radio
90° reception at the installation site!
