1 - Presentation

GP6 CPL is an energy manager for new or existing dwellings with electric heating.
• 8 load-shedding channels (single or three-phase).
• Compatible with electronic or electromechanical meters.
GP6CPL communicates with the receivers by using power line carrier transmission
(no modification of the electrical system installed).
1.1 Principle
1.1.1 Power line carrier transmission
The principle of "PLC" transmissions is to stack
an encoded signal with a higher frequency
and weaker amplitude on the signal present
between the live and neutral wires
(230 V, 50 Hz).
The protocol conforms to the NF-EN50065-1
standard, which allows several PLC systems to
coexist in one installation.
Advantages:
- No damage to the existing installation
- Upgradeability of the system
- Diversity of receivers
- No filter necessary at the head of the electric installation.
In three-phase installations, you must use a phase coupler (Not provided) to transmit on
the 3 phases simultaneously.
