The device can be used with a reverse video camera (Optional), connected to the AV1
input.
If we want the DRIVER monitor to show the picture from the video camera when we
the reverse gear is select, we need to select the type of connection for the green
power /output cable from this submenu.
-positive (POS),
-negative (NEG)
-disable function (OFF).
When the reverse gear is selected, the DRIVER monitor will show the picture from the
video camera. To set this function correctly, seek help from a qualified installer or try
different positions.
For safety reasons, the DRIVER monitor (the one visible by the driver) will not work
while the vehicle is moving. It is therefore necessary to select the type of connection
for the purple power/out cable.
Select if the control connected to the purple cable is positive (POS) or negative (NEG).
Selecting the correct position will enable display from the Driver monitor only with the
handbrake on. Before using the vehicle, seek help from an expert installer, or do some
trials with the vehicle still, to ensure the unit is operating correctly.
Press TV/AV on the remote control to scroll through the various inputs: TV – AV1 –
AV2
AV inputs are independent and provide audio and video entertainment in the selected
mode (PAL/NTCS).
The automatic activation of input AV1 with reverse video camera function, only di-
splays the image on the DRIVER monitor, even when the vehicle is moving. To display
on all monitors change the AV1 settings using the remote control.
