END OF CHARGE
Turn off the power to the battery charger by turning the switch OFF (if present) and/or removing the power cord
from the mains outlet.
Disconnect the black charging clamp from the car chassis or negative battery terminal (- symbol).
Disconnect the red charging clamp from the positive battery terminal (+ symbol).
Put the battery charger back in a dry place.
Close the battery cells with the relative plugs (if present).
BATTERY CHARGER PROTECTIONS
The battery charger protects itself in case of:
Overload (excessive power supply to the battery).
Short circuit (load clamps connected to each other).
Reverse polarity of battery terminals.
In the case of devices with fuses, the use of identical spare parts with the same rated current value is mandatory for
replacement.
ATTENTION: Replacing the fuse with a different current rating than that indicated on the nameplate
may result in damage to persons or property. For the same reason, avoid replacing the fuse with
copper or other material bridges.
The fuse must always be replaced with the power cord disconnected from the mains. Be careful when replacing the
ribbon fuse, if present, tighten the fixing nuts firmly.

MAINTENANCE

Good maintenance will extend the life of the machine. Prolonged or constant use may require more intensive
maintenance for the machine to continue to function properly.
ATTENTION: Make sure the engine is completely shut down before performing any maintenance
or repair. This will eliminate any potential risk.
Clean the positive and negative terminals of any rust deposits to ensure good contact of the clamps.
Avoid contacting the two clamps when the battery charger is connected to the mains. This will blow the fuse.
Store the charger in a cool, dry place.
It is not recommended to leave it in a vehicle in hot or cold conditions.
Make sure that no metal chips or shavings fall into the ventilation grilles during storage, as this can cause serious
injury when used again.
