Universal Power Supply Plus (UPS Plus)
4. Introduction
The UPS Plus has two potential-free relay outputs and
enables the simultaneous connection of two sensors (e.g.
cegard/Mini combined with an IMS 100). It also offers a
test input. When a door control system operates with a
test signal, this can be connected directly to the UPS Plus.
To do so, the test DIP switch must be set to ON. If it is
preferable to operate the light curtain without testing, the
test DIP switch should be set to OFF. That way, the test
signal is internally connected with a 24 VDC voltage.
Important:
The UPS Plus is not a TÜV certified device that can handle
a test routine by itself.
The UPS Plus consists of the controller and the required
plugs to connect the power supply, the outputs and the
sensor.

NOTICE
The PCB is sensitive to electrostatic discharge
and must be handled with care to prevent
callbacks. Use anti-static procedures when
handling these boards.
For the USA and Canada:
Connect all wiring with more than 42 V
through a Greenfield fitting.
Disconnect power before opening the
UPS Plus to prevent electrical shock.
Otherwise serious injury or death may
occur!
