The R-030350 is a practical hydraulic press,
with maximum power level 15.2 tonnes (rated, 9.5
tonnes),
specially
manufacture of muffles for dental prostheses.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Put the muffle(s) between the plates (E) taking
care to centre it/them properly.
2. Bring up spindle (A) until it touches the
muffle(s), close up the screw (B) and start
pumping.
3. The pressure gauge will not stabilize until the
muffle(s) is/are compacted and all excess resin
is squeezed out. When the pressure gauge
needle is steady, optimum pressing has been
achieved.
4. To remove the muffle(s) from the press,
unscrew the locking screw (B) so that the
bottom plate (E) is lowered by the springs, and
the unit will be ready for the next pressing.
Every 50 Bars (725 psi) a pressure of 1,900 kg is
obtained. Thus at 100 bars (1450 psi) 3,800 kg is
obtained, and at 200 bars (2900 psi) 7,600 kg is
obtained. The maximum is 400 bars (5801 psi) or
15,200 kg of pressure. We do not advise going this
far, as the pressure gauge may suffer mechanical
damage at this level, and the service life of all
components of the press and the muffles may be
reduced.
The maximum recommended pressure is 250
bars (3625 psi), red mark on pressure gauge.
Normal working pressure is 150 - 250 bars
(2175 – 3625 psi).
If more liquid is needed use only EXTRA (SAE
10) oil. No other liquids may be used under
any circumstances.
IMPORTANT
During the warranty period this press should
only be handled at our workshops. Any
handling elsewhere will cause cancellation of
the warranty.
All assembly and disassembly operations
should be carried out with extreme care so as
not damage any part of the press.
If there is considerable oil spillage between
the piston of the pump (3) and the nut (4)
when the lower plate drops to its rest
position, too much oil has been put into the
unit (Fig. 1). Unscrew the oil filling screw and
allow excess oil to drain off. The level must
be between Max. and Min. (Fig. 1).

PRECAUTIONS
Do not operate the press with fragile materials.
Protect yourself adequately during operation of
the unit, and use safety gauntlets and goggles.
Do not allow children or unqualified staff to
handle the unit.
Before using the facility, ensure that it is resting
on a firm solid base.
Ensure that the items to be pressed are correctly
positioned between the plates.
Be extremely careful to remove your fingers from
the plates before starting the pressing operation.
