HEAT BEZEL FUNCTION
The unique Rip Curl Heat Bezel, found on many Rip Curl watches, can be
used for countdown timing of 20, 30 and 40-minute periods - the common
heats in surfing competitions. The Heat Bezel countdown timer can also be
used for any other timing requirements (ie. sun exposure, parking meters,
appointments etc.)
To set the Heat Bezel Timer...
1. Turn your bezel by hand counterclockwise/to the left and align the Rip Curl
logo with the minute hand.
2. During the heat, the minute hand will automatically count down against
the bezel (with 5-minute interval markers), telling you at a glance how
much time is left.
