Intended use

The product is intended for interior heating by way of heat wave technology. The product has two heat
settings, a thermostat and frost protection. The product shuts off automatically in case of overheating or
tipping over.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and
keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.
This product complies with the statutory national and European requirements. All company names and

Safety instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information.
If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this
manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property.
Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
Attention: Do not cover.
Never cover the product during operation or shortly after operation (e.g. with clothing,
a blanket, a curtain, etc.) to prevent overheating the product. There is also a risk of fire!
a) Persons / Product
• The product is only allowed for interior use, not for exterior use.
• This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and / or lack of knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions on how to
use the device.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
• The product is not a toy, it does not belong into the hands of children. Be especially careful
if children are present. Children cannot recognize the dangers arising from improper use of
electrical devices. Children might try to insert objects into the unit. There is a danger of life-
threatening electric shock! There is also a high risk of injury and fire caused by hot surfaces!
Place the unit out of reach of children.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous
playing material for children.
• Do not insert objects through the protective screen. There is danger to life through electric
shock and risk of fire!
• Keep sufficient distance from other objects when operating the unit, to ensure sufficient air
circulation.
• This heat wave heater is also suitable for use in bathrooms, toilets and similar humid
environments (IP24). Do not use the heat wave heater in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub, a
shower, or a swimming pool. When using the unit in bathrooms, keep a minimum distance of
60 cm from showers, bathtubs or sinks. The safety regulations of the respective country must
be observed in all cases.
• Do not place the unit directly below a wall socket.
• Do not use the unit together with a separate timer, a separate remote control, or any other
devices which turn the unit on automatically.
• Do not use the unit in a vehicle, or similar moveable objects or rooms.
• The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
• Never pull the mains plug from the socket by pulling at the cable. Always pull it from the mains
socket using the intended grips.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you do not use the device for an extended
period of time.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket in thunderstorms for reasons of safety.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or put under
mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable from extreme heat or
cold. Do not modify the mains cable. Otherwise the mains cable may be damaged. A damaged
mains cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective mains socket
(e.g. via the respective circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from the mains
socket. Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• A damaged mains cable may only be replaced by the manufacturer, a workshop commissioned
by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person, so as to prevent any danger.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Unroll the mains cable completely. A partially unrolled mains cable can cause overheating.

Risk of fire!
• Do not use an extension cord, a multiple socket, or any other electric control devices. Connect
the mains plug only to a wall socket.
• Keep a minimum distance of 100 cm to flammable or easily ignitable materials (e.g. curtains,
doors, furniture). Not enough distance can cause a fire hazard!
• The use of the unit in environments with high dust content, flammable gases, vapours or
solvents is prohibited. Risk of explosion and fire!
• Never operate the unit without supervision.
• The protective screen gets very hot quickly. Risk of burns! Be careful whern handling the unit.
Never touch it with bare skin.
• Move, transport or store the unit only after it has cooled down completely.
• Use the product only in temperate climates, never in tropical climates
• Never use the product right after it was moved from a cold room into a warm room. This will
generate condensation, which may cause the unit to break down, or lead to electric shock.
Allow the unit to come to room temperature. Wait until the condensated water has evaporated.
This may take a few hours. The unit must not be connected to the mains supply or switched
on before this has been done.
• Never pour liquids over or beside the product. There is an extreme danger of fire or eletric
shock. Should liquids ever come in contact with the interior of the unit, immediately disconnect
the socket from the mains supply (fuse/circuit breaker/ground fault interruptor for the respective
electrical circuit). Pull the plug from the socket only after this has been done, and consult a
qualified techician. Do not continue to use the unit.
• Protect the unit from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not expose the unit to mechanical stresses.
• If safe operation is no longer possible, shut the unit off and protect it against unintentional use.
Safe operation is no longer ensured if the unit:
- exhibits visible damage
- no longer functions properly
- has been stored under less than optimal conditions for an extended period of time, or
- was exposed to significant transportation stresses.
• Handle the unit with care. It will be damaged by shocks, blows and falling, even from low
heights.
b) Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a
qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our
technical support service or other technical personnel.
