Installation
The installation of the receiver and its connection to the on-board
cartographic system requires that:
1.
the antenna supplied is installed on the boat, in an optimal
position and possibly far from other sources of radio frequency
(such as HF or VHF devices).
2.
The coaxial cable from the antenna is correctly wired and
connected to the receiver (BNC input).
3.
There is a 12Vdc power source, with at least a current of 100mA.
The receiver inside has protections against overcurrents and
polarity reversal. Anyway, it is recommended to install a small
stabilized power supply (not supplied) specific for the receiver
only.
4.
Proceed with the connection of the NMEA 0183 line at the output
of the W835 receiver, connecting it to a free input of the
cartographic system. Pay attention to the polarity of the
60
message will appear.

The configuration has been saved. In the event of an
error message, check the connection between the
receiver
and
operation. Repeating the programming does not involve
any risk of damage or malfunction.
