CARE AND CLEANING

UNPLUG POWER CORD FROM WALL OUTLET AND ALLOW TO COOL BEFORE
CLEANING. To preserve the exterior finish of the toaster, use a soft cloth with
water and mild soap if necessary. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Dry thor-
oughly before use.
To remove crumbs, ensure that power cord has been disconnected from wall
outlet. Holding toaster above sink, gently tilt toaster from side to side to
allow crumbs to fall out of toaster. IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMOVE CRUMBS
FROM YOUR TOASTER REGULARLY. A large build-up of crumbs could be a
fire hazard.
Incorporated into the base of the toaster is a cord storage compartment.
Push the cord inwards or pull it outwards to adjust the length of the cord or
to store the cord completely after using the toaster. ENSURE THAT THE
TOASTER IS COOL BEFORE STORING AWAY.
