IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST!
Your Tributaries T100 Power Manager represents the latest in power management and protection
technology. However, like any electronic device, if inappropriately or improperly installed it may not
perform as intended. By following a few common sense precautions, your Power Manager product will give
you a lifetime of worry-free performance.
The following safety precautions apply to this and all Tributaries Power Manager products.

important operating and maintenance instructions in the literature accompanying the unit.
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT EXPOSE THIS EQUIPMENT TO RAIN
OR MOISTURE.
NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE. REFER SERVICING TO QUALIFIED PERSONNEL. To reduce the risk of
electric shock, do not remove the cover or back. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
GENERAL
• Please read the safety instructions on this owner's manual prior to operating the T100.
• Keep these safety instructions for future reference when operating the T100.
• Heed all warnings contained in this operating manual and/or printed on the T100.
• Follow all instructions.
• Warning: to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this equipment to rain or moisture.
• Caution: to prevent electric shock do not use this (polarized) plug with an extension cord, receptacle, or
other outlet unless the blades can be fully inserted to prevent blade exposure.
• When not is use: Unplug the T100 during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
• Only use accessories specified by Tributaries.
INSTALLATION
• Heat: Do not place the T100 near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, A/V receivers
or amplifiers that produce considerable amounts of heat.
• Water and moisture: Do not use the T100 near water, such as a bathtub, washbowl, or swimming pool.
• Dripping or splashing: The T100 shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with
liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the T100.
• Carts and stands: When the T100 is placed or mounted on a stand or cart; the unit should be moved
with care. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause the unit and cart to overturn or
fall.
• Cleaning: Clean the T100 only with a dry cloth.
• Ventilation: Provide at least 1" below and at least 3" above the T100.
ELECTRICAL POWER
• Power Sources: The T100 should only be connected to power sources specified in the owner's manual
and marked on the unit.
• AC power cord: Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
• Grounding prong: Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug.
