1) Remove the mounting plate
by turning counter-clockwise.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries cannot be thrown away with the household waste. All consumers have a legal obligation to hand over all batteries and
rechargeable batteries to a collection point in their district/local area or in a shop, whether they contain hazardous substances or not, so that the batteries
can be disposed of in an environmentally-friendly manner. Please only hand in drained batteries or rechargeable batteries.

2) Mark the desired
position of the drill holes.
Ensure no cables etc. are
damaged during drilling and select
appropriate screws and wall plugs
for the material composition of the
ceiling.

Slot the smoke alarm into the
guide rails of the mounting
plate and turn the appliance
clockwise until you hear it click
into place.
