Pull out the adjustment screw on the upper side of the door gate on the hinge side Ill. 13 until the
distance between the wall and the gate frame is identical at the top and the bottom Ill. 14.
(The vertical rod of the door gate frame is equipped with a slight angle deviation in order to fit the
door gate in the mounting opening under tension), Ill. 15.
Pull the adjustment screw at the top on the closure side of the gate until Ill. 12 the distance
between the frame end cap of the frame and the handle mechanism is 3 - 4 mm, Ill. 16.
After tightening, check to ensure that the distance from the middle rod to the attachment surface
is the same so that the rod is vertical, Ill. 17.
Opening /Closing
In order to open the door, press the release button of the closure lightly and push it back until the

metal closure bolt withdraws from the bolt opening of the frame casing, Ill. 18.
To open, lift the gate element slightly. After passing, let go of the door. It swings back from any
position and closes automatically.
Green indicator: Door securely closed, Ill. 19.
Red indicator: Danger – door not locked! Ill. 20.
After passing through, make sure that the display is green. If this is not the case, the installation is
not sufficiently secure - use a screw gate.
Installation on stairs
ATTENTION!
At the top end, it is best to use a Reer stair gate without a frame.
A doorgate frame is a tripping hazard and can be a danger to life on a staircase!

should be positioned in the front of the lowest tread possible.
Installation of the extensions
(max. 6 pieces)
Remove adjusting screws (e) and (f) and attach the extension part(s) to each side of the safety
gate. Insert the adjusting screws into the extension(s). Ill. 21
When using several extension parts, divide them equally between the two gate sides, Ill. 22.
Usage
Never use the extensions only on one side! Ill. 23

Interlock the extensions. Insert the adjusting screws (e) and (f) into the last segment. Continue to
assemble as described on page 10.
The Night-Safe fluorescent light rail that is pinned to the lower frame in the middle from below
provides safety in the dark. 30 minutes of daylight suffice to make it glow for 9 - 12 hours.
